Raindrop.io is an all-in-one bookmark manager by Rustem Mussabekov with a Chrome extension, web app and apps for Android, iOS, macOS and Windows. It has a free plan and a paid Pro plan.
Browser bookmarks get messy fast and stay locked inside one browser. Raindrop.io stores your saved links in an account you can reach from any browser or device, organized into collections with tags.
What you can save
The extension clips articles, photos, videos, PDFs and whole pages from the web. Along with bookmarks, Raindrop.io manages highlights, annotations and tabs.
Organizing and finding things
- Collections for topics or projects, with suggested tags and custom filters.
- Sorting by date, title, site or by drag and drop.
- Full-text search: The listing says the entire content of saved pages and PDFs is searchable.
- Permanent library: Raindrop.io keeps a copy of saved pages, so you still have them if the original is taken down.
- Sharing: Give team members, or the whole web, access to a collection, with permissions per collection.
Everywhere you work
There are extensions for popular browsers and apps for Android, iOS, macOS and Windows, plus an API and many integrations. The developer says data is encrypted in transit while syncing and that there’s no tracking or intrusive advertising.
Free and Pro
Raindrop.io has a free plan and a paid Pro plan; the Chrome listing notes in-app purchases. Check raindrop.io/pro for which features need Pro.
