About OneDownload
What OneDownload is, how it works and why every download button leads to the developer’s official page instead of a file on this site.
OneDownload is a plain, independent guide to free software, games, mobile apps and open-source AI tools. Each page explains what a program does, which version and platforms are current, what your computer needs to run it, and where the official download is.
We don’t host files
OneDownload never stores or re-packages installers. Every download button opens the developer’s own website, its official GitHub releases, Steam, the Epic Games Store, Google Play or the App Store. That means:
- you always get the file the developer published, not a copy that may have been modified or bundled with extra software;
- updates come straight from the source;
- if a link stops working, you can tell us with the “Link not working?” form on the program’s page.
What you’ll find on a program page
- a short summary of what the program is and who makes it;
- the license (free, open source, freemium, trial or paid) and supported platforms;
- system requirements and, where the developer publishes it, the download size;
- install notes, honest pros and cons, and answers to common questions.
Who is behind it
OneDownload is an independent project. It is not affiliated with the developers it writes about, and coverage is not paid for. The site currently shows no ads; if sponsored content is ever added, it will be clearly labelled.
How we research and check pages is described in our editorial policy. How the site handles data is in the privacy policy. To reach us, see the contact page.
