Atomic Wallet is a free, non-custodial multi-currency wallet from Atomic Protocol Systems OÜ for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android. In June 2023 the company reported unauthorized transactions affecting some users' wallets and said it updated its security infrastructure afterwards.
Atomic Wallet is a multi-currency wallet that holds Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero, Solana, XRP, Cardano, Tron, TON and many other coins and tokens in one app.
Non-custodial design
Atomic describes itself as non-custodial: private keys are encrypted on your device and never leave it, and no account or verification is needed for basic features. As with any self-custody wallet, nobody can restore your funds if you lose your backup phrase.
The 2023 security incident
Atomic Wallet has published a statement about this. According to the company, from June 3, 2023 its support team received reports of unauthorized transactions from users’ wallets. It says it paused app downloads and updates, began an investigation with external specialists and blockchain analysis firms, listed several possible causes without confirming one, and later updated its security infrastructure. The statement also warns users about impersonators offering “fund recovery”. You can read the full statement on atomicwallet.io before deciding whether to use the wallet.
Platforms
- Desktop: Windows 10 and 11, macOS, and Linux (Ubuntu, Debian and Fedora packages).

Swaps and card purchases inside the app are run through third-party providers and carry their own fees. Staking rates shown in the app are variable and not guaranteed.
