Guarda is a free, non-custodial multi-currency wallet from Guardaco LDA. It is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, the web and as a Chrome extension, and natively supports more than 60 blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and Monero.
Guarda is a multi-chain wallet that you can use on almost any device: a desktop app, phone apps, a browser extension and a web wallet, all built around the same non-custodial model.
Non-custodial by design
According to Guarda, private keys are generated and stored locally on your device and Guarda never accesses your funds. You restore the wallet with your backup, so keep it somewhere safe and offline.
Supported blockchains
Guarda’s app store listing names native support for more than 60 blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Cardano, Solana, Monero, Tron, XRP, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Cosmos, Polkadot, Tezos and Stellar, plus ERC-20, BEP-20 and TRC-20 tokens.
Platforms
- Desktop: macOS, Windows and Linux (.deb and AppImage).
- Mobile: iPhone and Android.
- Browser: a web wallet and a Chrome extension.
A web wallet is convenient but runs in a browser tab, so make sure the address bar shows guarda.com before you open it, and keep larger amounts on a desktop or hardware-based setup.
Guarda also offers buying, swaps, loans, staking and trading features through partners; these involve fees and risks and are not required to use the wallet.
Download safely
The Download button opens Guarda’s desktop wallet page on guarda.com, which also links to the other versions. In app stores, the publisher is Guardaco LDA (App Store) or GUARDA (Google Play).
Never share your backup
Guarda support will never ask for your backup phrase, private keys or wallet password. For a wallet that also covers many chains, compare with Atomic Wallet.
Pros
- Available on desktop, mobile, web and Chrome
- Native support for 60+ blockchains
- Non-custodial
Cons
- Many partner features beyond the basic wallet
- Web wallet needs extra care against phishing sites
