Call of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale from Activision. On PC it is part of the Call of Duty app on Steam or Battle.net, and Steam lists 64-bit Windows 10, a Ryzen 5 1400 or Core i5-6600 and 8 GB of RAM as the minimum.
Warzone is Activision’s free battle royale inside the Call of Duty franchise. Large squads drop into a big map, loot weapons and cash, earn money in contracts and try to be the last team alive. It uses the series’ fast, polished gunplay, which is the main reason people choose it over slower alternatives such as PUBG: Battlegrounds.
How it plays
- Battle royale: The core mode, with squads of various sizes and a shrinking circle.
- Gulag and respawns: Fallen players can often fight for a second chance rather than being out immediately.
- Loadouts: You can drop in with custom weapon builds in many modes.
- Seasonal updates: Maps, weapons and events rotate through the year.
