Trust Wallet is a free, self-custody multi-chain crypto wallet for iOS, Android and desktop browsers (extension). It supports more than 100 blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Solana and Polygon.
Trust Wallet is a mobile-first wallet that holds assets on many different blockchains in one app, with a built-in browser for decentralized apps and a desktop browser extension.
Self-custody
Trust Wallet is self-custodial: your private keys are encrypted and stored on your device, and your secret phrase is the only way to restore the wallet. Unlike an exchange account, there is no password reset.
What it supports
- 100+ blockchains: Including Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Solana, Polygon, XRP, Cardano, Sui, Avalanche and Tron.
- NFTs: View NFTs across chains.
- dApps: A dApp browser on mobile and a browser extension on desktop, with wallet import between them.
- Customisation: Add custom tokens, watch addresses and adjust RPC nodes.
Buying crypto and some reward features run through partners and in-app services with their own terms; read them before using any of them.
Platforms and download
Trust Wallet runs on iPhone and Android, plus a browser extension listed on the Chrome Web Store. Trust Wallet itself tells users to download only from trustwallet.com, the App Store, Google Play or the Chrome Web Store. The Download button opens trustwallet.com/download.
In the stores, check the publisher: DApps Platform Software Services Ltd. on the App Store and DApps Platform, Inc. on Google Play. Lookalike apps with similar names and logos do appear from time to time.
Keep your secret phrase secret
Trust Wallet support will never ask for your secret phrase. Never type it into a website or share it in a chat, even with someone who says they work for Trust Wallet. Compare with MetaMask if you mainly use Ethereum apps in a desktop browser.
Pros
- Supports 100+ blockchains
- Mobile app and browser extension
- Custom tokens and RPC settings
Cons
- Wide feature set can be confusing for beginners
- Many in-app partner services to sort through
