DraftSight 30-Day Trial: 2D and 3D DWG Drafting

DraftSight lets you create, edit, view and share 2D and 3D DWG files, with a command set that feels familiar to anyone who has used other DWG programs. It comes from Dassault Systèmes, the company behind SOLIDWORKS.

Plans

• Professional: The core 2D drafting product.
• Premium: Adds more advanced features; this is the edition offered as a trial.
• Enterprise: The edition for larger organisations.

There is no longer a permanent free edition; the old Standard plan has been replaced.

Start the trial

1. The Download button opens the DraftSight free trial page.
2. Fill in the trial form with your details.
3. Download the installer you are sent and activate the trial.

The trial is a 30-day, full-featured version of DraftSight Premium. Since it uses DWG as its native format, you can open drawings you already have from colleagues or suppliers and test your usual commands, layers and plotting setup before deciding which plan to buy.

System requirements

For DraftSight 2026, the official requirements list 64-bit Windows 11 and macOS 14 Sonoma, 15 Sequoia or 26 Tahoe, with 8 GB of RAM as a minimum and 16 GB recommended.
