Laragon is a lightweight, portable local development environment for Windows for PHP, Node.js, Python, Go and Ruby. Unlicensed use is allowed for non-commercial purposes; commercial use needs a paid licence.
Laragon is a Windows development environment that tries to stay out of your way. Its core program is under 6 MB, and everything lives inside one Laragon folder, so you can move the whole setup by copying that folder.
Features developers notice first
- Pretty URLs: Laragon creates virtual hosts automatically, so a project opens at an address such as app.test without editing the hosts file.
- One-click HTTPS: Generate self-signed SSL certificates for local sites.
- Quick app creation: Start a WordPress, Laravel or Symfony project, or a custom stack, from the menu.
- Multiple versions: Run different versions of Apache, Nginx, PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Node.js, Python and Go.
- Sharing: Built-in ngrok integration exposes a local site to the internet for a client preview.
Installation
- The Download button opens the official Laragon website.

Free and paid use

Commercial use requires a licence: $49 for one device for one year, $149 for a lifetime licence with five years of updates, or team plans for 5 or 15 devices.
