Bitget is a crypto exchange that offers spot trading, futures and copy trading. Unlike many exchanges, it publishes desktop apps for both Windows and macOS next to its mobile apps.

Bitget does not serve every country, and the United States is among the restricted jurisdictions in its terms. Check availability for your country on the official site, and expect to complete identity verification before trading.

Safe installation

1. Download from bitget.com/download or the store links on this page.
2. Bitget’s site has a “Verify official channels” tool and an anti-scam hub. Use them when someone contacts you claiming to be Bitget staff.
3. Avoid “VIP” groups, signal sellers and anyone who promises fixed returns from copy trading.

Enable two-step verification and keep your password unique. A password manager such as Bitwarden makes this easy.

Withdrawing to your own wallet

Coins left on any exchange are held by that exchange. If you plan to hold for a long time, consider moving them to a wallet where you control the recovery phrase, and always send a small test amount first to make sure the address and network are correct.
