Wuthering Waves Download: Free Open-World Action RPG

In Wuthering Waves you play as Rover, who wakes up with no memories in a world reshaped by a catastrophe called the Lament. You explore a large open world with a team of characters known as Resonators, uncovering what happened along the way.

What makes it different?

• Action-focused combat: Dodges, counters and parries reward precise timing.
• Echo system: Defeated enemies can be captured as Echoes that you equip for extra skills and stats.
• Movement: Wall-running, gliding and grappling make exploration quick.
• Team swaps: Switching characters mid-combo triggers special intro and outro attacks.

Two ways to install

1. Steam is the simplest route, and it is where the Download button leads. Kuro Games also offers its own launcher on the official website.
2. Sign in with your Steam account and click “Play Game”.
3. The opening chapters introduce combat, movement and the Echo system step by step.

System requirements

According to Steam, the minimum is 64-bit Windows 10, a 9th-generation Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 2700, 16 GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, AMD Radeon RX 570 or Intel Arc A380 graphics card, DirectX 12 and 150 GB of free space. An SSD is recommended. The game is also available on Android and iPhone.

How the game makes money

The game is free. New Resonators and weapons come from a gacha system that can be used with currency earned in game or bought with real money.
