Valorant is a free tactical FPS released by Riot Games on June 2, 2020. On PC it runs only on Windows and requires a Riot account and the Vanguard anti-cheat software; its official site is playvalorant.com.
Valorant is a tactical shooter in which two teams of five battle over planting and defusing a bomb called the Spike. What sets it apart is that every player picks an agent with unique abilities, such as raising a wall, blocking an area with smoke or revealing where enemies are hiding.

- Agents: There are many agents across the Duelist, Initiator, Controller and Sentinel roles, and new ones arrive with each season.

How to download and install
- The Download button opens the official page on playvalorant.com; click “Play Free”.
- Sign in with your Riot account or create a new one. If you already play League of Legends, you can use the same account.

Good to know
Vanguard, Valorant’s anti-cheat software, runs when your computer starts and requires Windows 10 or 11. The game is free; weapon skins and the battle pass are optional purchases and do not affect in-game power.
